The PLP Steel Compression sleeve meets the requirements of the CSA standard for permanent external corrosion repair.
TNT has the exclusive distribution rights to market these sleeves. TNT has certified welders on staff to properly install these compression sleeves.
These pictures show that over-pressuring of the line does not affect the hoop stress of the sleeved area. However, it will break at a weak point as seen below.
